Ersatz Icicle Dangles from Branch
I stared at this for a long time wondering how it could be
Spring is here.
Officially.
Unseasonably cold
and you can see why
I wondered how this sight
could possibly be real.
Not!
But it made me wonder.
Yesterday I took Murphy for a walk after school. And it was about 37 degrees. Chilly but not freezing. I got down the street and saw this hanging from a tree branch.
Are those pink buds on the trees real? Now that’s the important question! Where is spring? Don’t leave us hanging! What’s the story on the (fake?) icicle?
