Wonderful picture, Ruth, that also rings back many memories of visiting my cousin on Mt Washington and going downtown by the best and prettiest method around. Thanks very much.
WOW! This is such a wonderful picture of a wonderful city. As comment above, a very favorite youth memory was riding the incline from the city to Mt. Washington to visit my aunt and uncle. Nothing can beat those rickety cars moving up and down the steep hill!
Ruthie-you know I love these Pgh pictures! This is gorgeous!!!
Love the last little bit of light on the buildings
Beautiful!
Looks like a postcard
You’ve mentioned the city’s bridges before but it’s striking to see so many of them in one shot.
Pittsburgh is called “The City of Bridges.” You can see why.
oh that red cable car coming up – like in Valparaiso!
Today’s and yesterday’s photos – both gorgeous!
a REMARKABLE PHOTO—greeting card if ever there were one… Thanks. Lois

What’s the story with the red incline car? I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything like it before…
There’s a beautiful view of Pittsburgh that you’re so famous for! 🙂
Thanks Carla. The city changes with the light and time of day.
