Weekly Photo Challenge: Delicate

This week’s challenge is delicate.  I held up this tiny crystal swan to catch the light from the dining room chandelier.

The swan’s neck is delicate.  Crystal Swan

  1. That is really beautiful! I have a small collection of glass animals – your crystal swan is really lovely with the light prism.

  2. That’s really beautiful, Ruth, and wouldn’t appear nearly as “delicate” if the fingers weren’t there to give some perspective.

    • How right you are. The fingers are in for exactly that reason John. Had to show how miniature the swan is or else it looks like a giant swan.

  3. I love it. I took a picture of a swan ornament but didn’t use it on my blog. I put it up on Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/67616811@N00/8276241965/in/photostream

  4. I love how the light reflects into the swan creating the beautiful colors. Very delicate.

  6. I have a swan just like this sitting on my dresser, it reflects a rainbow of colors on the ceiling when the light hits it in the mornings :)

  7. So beautiful and very delicate. I had one very like it. I’ve only missed it now, after seeing yours. I wonder what happened to it? A complete mystery. :?
