Incline in the Snow

I returned to the Duquesne Incline platform on Monday evening as I arrived from Ohio.  Not quite as much snow as I thought there would be.

Taken just as the sun sank in the sky and the temperatures dropped.  Will try again, a different winter day.

Couldn’t wait any longer to shoot when the sky was darker as it was too windy and cold.  You might have liked the night time version better.

  1. It’s actually too cold to snow here (-7 degrees F today), so we also have just a smattering of white amid chalky gray streets and skies. The mood in PA seems similar to MN.

  2. The night time view was more striking, Ruth, but this is still avery good place to shoot your City. I seriously doubt you could take a bad picture from there.

  3. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thanks a lot!
