Photographing People Photographing People Can Be Boring

but I like this picture.  A lot.  It makes me happy.

A man capturing his family group on the benches at Central Park Zoo. I’d just come out of the Penguins.

To me, he looks like a conductor of an orchestra, feeling joy as he views the image of those whom he loves.

..the pleasantest thing ever a child can do!

The Swing

How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside–

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown–
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

We’re Talking Trash Now

Shot while walking down Fifth Avenue in NYC  with my sister when I was on Spring Break.  Waiting for pick-up.

I didn’t count them but it was definitely eye catching.
