One of my first “get togethers” with my then future mother in law was to a Pirate’s game. She also kept a score card and was a huge fan!
These photos make a great slide show. Takes me back to the special summer events with my Dad. He tried to take us to 1 Cleveland Indians game each season. No matter how much we tried to stay awake; we always fell asleep on the return drive home.
That 457 foot marker gave me chills! Wonderful memories of sitting at many Pirates games in Forbes Field with my dad and brother.
I also remember with glee you relating Matthew’s big baseball moment.
By the way, your pictures of things around Oakland are really making me homesick!
