I wanted to use the word cul-de-sac on the blog ever since I’ve been visiting the family. Just don’t write or use that word in my daily life in the city. Nice for safe bike riding after supper.
Three out of four took a break to greet the neighbor’s lovely dog, Misty. We sat in the driveway and watched until the sun went down and it was time to come in and get ready for bed. Although it was a hot day, the evening temp dropped and it was a perfect summer evening.
There’s so much happening in this photo Ruth, well captured!
When visiting friends in North Carolina a few years ago, I was so amazed to see how safe the streets in her suburb were, for children to play and ride their bikes. Drivers were so respectful too. 😉
A wonderful scene of family life in the neighborhood.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Cul de Sac – interesting word.
I love that Maura has her baby doll strapped in a seat on the back of her bike!
If cul de sacs mean that more children will play outdoors, I say build them on every street.
That is definitely summer in the city!! We live on a cul de sac as well and specifically moved there so the kids could ride their bikes safely!
Love the baby seat
Where’s Murphy????!!!
I love the baby on the back of bike #4. 🙂
