Do you remember seeing Uncle Frank’s Chevrolet (1953) when he was just putting the engine in?
Here’s what it looks like now after all the work (love) he has put into it! Shot from the passenger window- the interior.

Your Uncle Frank and my Uncle Louie. They were great! … the cars and the uncles, eh? 🙂
A fun post. Well done.
Amazing men. My DIL’s uncle so great uncle to my grands. Thanks Jamie.
Memories – my dad had a maroon 53 chevy Belair.
sweet ride : )
Ruth, this is a great photo!
Love those 50’s cars. It was a very good year!
Wonderful! I love the smell of old cars. I like the way the doors close. I like the smell of garages. So as you can imagine I love this image!
Looking good!
Cool shots. The dash board looks so very simple compared to now a days.
Wow! What a fantastic restoration. That dashboard looks great but, without seat belts, it’s a wonder any of us survived.
I was just talking to my mom about that earlier this week. (She put my sister and I into car seats before it was “fashionable” [or legally required] to do so.)
I do remember that earlier photo – and wow! What a car it is now. Very impressive!
