Photographed during a walk this summer, I’m always trying to keep up…. as I was looking for a photo to post tonight, I was reminded me of an ongoing issue in the city. Probably in most cities and towns across the nation.
There are responsible dog owners (xxooxx) and irresponsible dog owners :-(.
You read about it on the neighborhood list-serve. Complaints. Or see it when you take a walk in the nearby park. Or find a deposit on your lawn. Uh-oh. I think there are more responsible dog owners than not but thought this was a good illustration of a couple of responsible ones.

That’s right. Ruth. “Responsible” dog owners. It infuriates me to “find” when others haven’t picked up after their dogs.

I would hope most dog owners are responsible. Over the years, the problem has definitely improved.
The first time we were in Paris, many years ago, it struck me as very odd that the city considered one of the most romantic cities in the world, they don’t pick up after their dogs!
Little blue bags, essential both for hygiene and just plain good manners.
Irresponsible dog owners are poopy!
Irresponsible dog owners frustrate me (and at times, scare me [i.e., when their animals are clearly out of control]).
