Matthew saw the cake we ordered and said, “Ahhh famous frozen wind cake” Icy wind came up as the recipe but we liked the sound of his calling it Frozen Wind. It was delicious.
Two Windows in Salzburg- same store
Morning treat
Tea and Apple Strudel on the Sound of Music bus tour. Notice there are two in a paper for “takeaway”
You saw the Salzburg Nockerl on a recent post
Perhaps chocolates are your treat -another window in Salzburg
or perhaps you prefer something salty
Great! 🙂
Those are amazing treats. My daily treat is 2 chocolate Viativ calciums. Lame, no?
Wouldn’t do it for me but the chocolate part sounds good.
Oh my! That first shot of the cakes stopped me in my tracks, Ruth! 🙂
Happy Halloween!
Thanks Jo, The cake was as good as it looks. Happy Halloween to you and thanks for the visit and comment today,
OMG!!! I gain 3 pounds just by looking at these treats! 🙂
Great selections, Ruth!
Thanks for you nice comment, Amy. Didn’t mean to make anyone gain weight. Sorry about that.
Now those are some amazing treats!!
Thanks Toni for your nice words.
Ah, yes, the Mozart chocolates. 🙂 I’m now officially hungry for some wonderful pastry and tea.

Can’t beat pastry and tea, Janet. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice comment.
It all looks good to me except the sweet mountain!
Thanks Gilly. I notice I photograph a lot of desserts and sweets. Hmmmmm. Enjoy your weekend. Sorry to hear about your gray rain.
Okay now you have made me rather hungry. Great treats Ruth.
Thanks Cee for your visit and good words. Seeing can create desire. I always enjoy visiting your blog and appreciate your visits to mine.
I think I just got a tooth cavity!
Uh-oh. Sorry. Thanks for stopping by today.
Thanks God I’m not there..
If not, maybe my diet programme will be failed
Zero calories to just look 🙂
Hahaha, luckily 😀
Yum! Many very European looking shots. Colorful “treats”! Makes me miss Germany.
You are exactly right. They were all shot in Europe. Do you pass out toothbrushes tonight?
I love the look of the icy wind cake. I went to the recipe and it doesn’t look too difficult. 🙂 The espresso and croissant also looks good.
I’m going to try and recreate the cake and blog it. But not today. If you make it, would love a photo.
I don’t think I’ll make it, as there are only the two of us here. Look forward to your post when you get around to it. 🙂
Ruth, my mouth is watering. Delicious photos!
Thanks Marion. I liked your birds at the feeder too.
