“Sometimes, we get caught up in nostalgia, future fantasy, or both, and we don’t embrace the “now.” For this week’s challenge, take a moment to notice your present, and share a photo of it.”
Embracing the “now” as I returned home this afternoon.
Took a moment. Noticed my present. Sharing a photo of it.
Dirty dishes in the sink and an empty eggnog container to rinse and recycle.
That is now, but it quickly became then!
Or an empty box of Thornton’s chocolates and a few crumbs of Stollen? Happy 2016, Ruth! Hope you and the family had a lovely Christmas 🙂
Oh wouldn’t both of those be a nice addition. Happy new Year , Jo.
I would love to take a moment to take a picture of my sink but its on the fritz – so my now moment with my sink has to wait until the plumber comes.
I like your big sink. 🙂
Thanks Stef. Happy New Year.
Like your bright red coffee filter holder!!!! Love the mix of “fine china” and plastic!!! That’s NOW!!! 🙂
All those dishes and the egg nog is gone too? Oh dear!

I think your photo subject matter, or some closely related version, could be found in most kitchens of late. I finally got to the bottom of my kitchen sink yesterday and felt like I had completed some major accomplishment. 🙂
Trying to keep it real! Thanks John and hope your 2016 is a happy healthy one!
