Four out of Five

The 2015 Annual Report on the Blog came from WordPress .

Four out of five most viewed blogposts this year were NOT published in 2015.

Just one of the most viewed was posted this year.

Not sure what to think about the most popular posts viewed in 2015 date back to 2010.   Huh?

    • Thank you for your lovely comment Madhu. Putting it in that context seems so positive and encouraging. Wishing you all good things in 2016!

  1. I don’t know why your most popular posts viewed in 2015 date back to 2010. Go figure. But my favorite photo of yours was the one called “Woman Waiting for the Man and Dog Behind- But Read the Green and White Sign” Here’s the link: http://rutheh.com/tag/cherry-blossoms/. What I particularly like about that photo is the contrast of the blossoms with the brick wall in the background, and with the dried cement having oozed out from between the bricks. In fact, I enlarged and printed out that section of the photo, and I had it posted on the bulletin board in my office for more than a year. The word “year” reminds me: Happy New Year! Keep up the good work!

    • What a thoughtful and encouraging comment, Ken. I’d forgotten about your favorite photo but enjoy your remembering and am glad to return and remember, too. Lots is contrasts, you’re right! Happy New Year greetings from Pittsburgh and I’ll keep working and hopefully coming up with more memorable new posts!

    • Thank you for the new year greetings from Malaysia. I appreciate your views and likes and comments. All the best yo you from Pittsburgh PA!

  2. I think having non – 2015 posts being hit on (giggle) is a good thing. It means your posts are timeless and folks are searching for them outside of WP, something I strive for.
I wish you the best in 2016! Happy new year!

    • Thanks for your positive comment! The “counting jelly beans in a glass jar” being most popular just surprised me. Happy New Year to you, too.

  3. I look forward to and view your posts everyday. Happy New Year to you and the whole family!😘

    • Awww Stef what a perfectly lovely and thoughtful comment. And to think I was concerned about it… I like your perspective.
