Philadelphia architecture. A mixture of old and new. I.M. Pei – the architect of the Society Hill Towers. There are three towers of condos on five acres.

the small garden and the large trees are also a bit old and new – and maybe the concrete and the bricks as well. great building contrast though – and all the squares/rectangles give so much to feast upon.
Great capture, Ruth. Love coming upon these contrasting buildings in the city. Unfortunately, they’re becoming increasingly rare. Not all urban renewal is a good thing.
