Thanks for the beautiful photo, Shuey. (The guest blogger today).
Shuey is headed to Prudhoe Bay Alaska.
On his motorcycle.
Did I mention he started out in Nicevlle Florida?
That’s 4,862.7 miles, I just looked it up.
A schoolhouse near Scottsbluff, NE

He is half way there- Calgary, Alberta.
Wow what a journey, just imagine the experiences he’ll have along the way.
Maybe he will share some photos
The schoolhouse looks like it holds many memories.
I agree with you
This reminds me of “Little House on the Prairie.” I wonder what it was like to attend school here?
Great photo of schoolhouse!
What a long travel journey. Way to enjoy America from sea to sea! 🙂
Thanks Amy. Really get a feel for the size of the place
I have made the road trip to Prudhoe Bay area twice a year since I arrived in Alaska and i hope Shuey knows he will encounter snow and sleet as he nears Prudhoe Bay.
Pete I thank you for your comment for Shuey. He did mention weather gods
What a great find & shot! Even so, I can’t wrap my head around traveling 4800 miles on a cycle. There’s a book’s worth of experiences to be shared, no doubt about it. I’d certainly buy it.
I will let him know! 😀
That’s one heckuva ride! And one awesome photo.
I hope Shuey checks back to read your nice comment, Stef. I’ll mention it to
Him.
Well . . . just found my note reminding me to check back here. Interesting comments, much appreciated. It was a great trip and I have about 800 photos. One or two of them are really good. 😉 I’ll send Ruth another one or two for her guest posting consideration.
