There are hardback books, CDs and cassette tapes, too. Check it out for a walk down memory lane.
The Bocce Tournament is Saturday. We missed the celebrity bocce on Thursday night with Mayor Peduto and Franco Harris. Heard it was fun
I was able to show some of the men their photos from two, three and four years ago. Must have been out of town last year. One of my favorite city posts are the men playing bocce at night years ago
Anthony and Adam Marino. Twins/brothers. I was able to show them photos from previous years. See links above.

Looks like good weather and good food. I would be tempted by several of the choices!
Bocce looks like our bowls or the French boules. The atmosphere looks buzzy!
It definitely looks like you had a good time!
Great neighborhood! Good shopping, good food – lots going on there!
Thanks Toni. A lot to do, see and EAT>
Can’t wait to go on Sunday. We try to go every year. There is so much to see and enjoy. A good time for all.

Not so sure about the zombie caputal bit, but the rest looks good. Bocce looks like bocci, which we should be seeing at the paralympics shortly now the warm up session has almost finished.
Thanks Isobel. Movie The Night of the Living Dead was filmed at a local mall years ago- I think that started the Zombie thing. Always nice of you to visit and leave a good word.
I bet most people loved seeing their images from years’ past.
They were, Stef, it was fun
When I was a boy, bocce was THE game of summer Sundays, followed closely by night-ending games of pinochle. I can almost here the thud of the balls landing on the turf. I’ve not seen, let alone played, the game in decades. Thanks for the reminder, Ruth. I need to see when and where the locals here play bocci. That’s sure to be a nostalgia-filled experience.
Thanks for sharing your memories, John.
