Hambone’s Saturday Night-Lawrenceville neighborhood on Butler Street.
Steve said, come on let’s go -so I put my book down and layered up in warm clothes and we headed down. Ordered a draft. Settled into a booth and listened to some great musicians take the chill off the almost winter night.
Christopher Mark Jones and the Roots Ensemble
Vince Camut on pedal steel
Mark Perna on Bass
Eric Kurtzrock on drums and vocals
And joined by Mr. Marc Reisman on harps in the third and final set
We ran into Mr. And Mrs. Claus on the sidewalk in front of Hambone’s as we went to our cars
An outdoor concert in December? Brave souls! Looks like a fun time was had by all!
It was inside! We just dressed warmly to go out to get there.
That looked like a super relaxing evening. I know Hesh would enjoy that.
Always fun to get out and about – and to hear live music!! Looks like a good evening!
I do enjoy going out to listen to live musicians perform — and I’m not too picky about the style of play. Find me a nice piano bar and I’ll go back again and again.
Spontaneous trips are often the best!

I would have stayed at home with a book – so it’s good that I have people in my life who nudge me out of the house once winter arrives. 😀
