Was your grandfather Dutch?
Yes. We haven’t done the DNA but the Van Sickles came over in the 1600’s.

So Uncle Fred Judd was brother of his mother and Dewitt Judd his first cousin
So the question is. Was he a Dutch?

Love the pics, and the memories that go alongside them. I used to visit a woman who was born in 1885, and died in 1988 (yes, she lived to be 103 years old). I *loved* hearing the stories from her childhood; the changes that she witnessed over her life were totally unreal.
