The thin white tree branch over the dark trunk seemed to connect the bridge reflection in the river. Tie it together.
I photographed this image earlier in the week.
But-we’re not talking about the weather or what it’s doing outside my window right now.
It’s winter for certain.

Oh non Ruth. Perhaps I should have elaborated a bit more when I expressed my admiration for your photo. It is unusual to get such a clear reflection in flowing water.

Your photo is so engaging. I am drawn to the connection that you mention and more. Sunlight and blue skies are a bonus in January in Pittsburgh. You picked the perfect day to take this picture. In contrast, tonight the snow is blowing sideways and ice crystals abound. I wonder what the morning will bring. A date with my snow shovel is a certainty.
