Infinity, lost.
An infinity scarf. No beginning. No end. Have you knit one?
Found in Pittsburgh’s Strip District on top of a recycle can, as I parked Friday morning.
Penn Avenue.
Headed for La Prima Espresso for a delicious start to the day.
I didn’t touch it to determine if it was hand knit or determine fiber content but I felt sad when I saw it. The snow flakes caught on the stitches.
Usually you find a lone glove.
Thanks! I used to do infinity strip with paper in my math class. Your beautiful photo brought back the memory, Ruth.
I never made a paper infinity strip but it sounds intriguing. Thanks Peter.
It seems more difficult for an infinity scarf to be lost than a regular one. Someone is missing that scarf.
Maybe someone kind left it for a cold person?
I like your thinking, Cindy.
Someone is cold this morning.
Lovely image, Ruth. I hope the owner came back for it. It looks so forlorn just lying there.
That looks like a lovely scarf! I haven’t knitted one, but I have crocheted one. V-stitch; very easy to do, and works up quick.
I knitted a scarf for a friend and offered to make an infinity one but she declined. I’ve got a shop bought one that I quite like!
