Wednesday evening, I came out of the restaurant to this scene.
Liberty Avenue and 36th Street. All surrounding roads were closed due to night paving.
Had to walk a few blocks to Penn Avenue so Steve could pick me up.

That was a surprise! Wow! Good that they are paving, though.
Sometimes progress is a pain.
And the giant potholes need to be filled!
Pot holes everywhere. This winter seemed to be especially rough on our streets and roads.Then again, I think I say the same every year .

I got a ride as I knew I’d be having a beer with dinner and didn’t want to drive but yes, it would have been ticketed and towed I’m sure
I am amazed at how much construction work gets done at night around here. It’s like little elves make the streets amazing….
