Do you think this is a ribbon leaf Japanese maple tree? I’d no idea there were so many varieties. I need to take a leaf identification refresher course.
The hues in Spring are so vibrant. Not sure about the leaf. The second photo is a real winner with the sunlight and shadows and all. It is so clear and sharp. Perfect at least through my untrained eye.

When it comes to subspecies of trees, it becomes a real challenge to identify the tree. Great photos, Ruth!
