It’s Water Under the Bridge

It’s water under the bridge (s), the water being the Monongahela River. I lost count of the number of bridges we sailed under.

Sunday night.

Rivers of Steel Photo Cruise on the Mon. During the 2 1/2 hour Riverboat Cruise we had rain, clouds, thunder, lightning )where we had to go inside the boat) and then a sliver of sun briefly, ending on clear skies.

  1. I worked on the Gateway Clipper for about a year. I know the bridges from this side, very well. Sorry you didn’t have better weather, but you have some cool pictures.

  2. Ah yes. The city of bridges. Great pictures Ruth. Didn’t know river of steel did river tours.

  3. I didn’t realize bridges were so architecturally interesting on the underside. Since the collapse of the 35W bridge in Minneapolis and resulting loss of lives and serious injuries, I never have viewed bridges in quite the same way.

  4. You always give things such a unique perspective. Hoping to someday take you through the locks.

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
