Two days ago it was ninety five degrees. Schools were dismissed early due to the temperatures.
Do you discuss the weather?
It’s definitely a topic of conversation in Pittsburgh.

I am just happy the heat broke!
Good to hear that you have rain now and the temperature is down to a more tolerable lever. Best wishes! Peter
Sorry for the typo, Ruth! Level not lever.
The English, of course 🙂
Huge change
Huge change! Too hot, now too much rain!
It had been so hot and dry here in North Texas so the rain and cooler temperatures are very welcome!
Oh Lord, if we cancelled school because of hot weather, we’d never have school here in Georgia! LOL But then we cancel school here if anyone so much as spies one snowflake! 🙂
The old city school buildings have no AC so it’s like an oven
I can imagine! When I was a kid not one of the schools here in Georgia was air conditioned. I lived in Australia for part of my high school years, and remember days of 115 degrees there in a school that was not air conditioned. Come to think of it, most buildings and cars weren’t air conditioned back then, and we just suffered. I’m surely glad we have air conditioning now!
The weather is a fickle beast – and DEFINITELY a frequent topic of discussion in Minnesota.
