Eleven degrees in Kennebunk, Maine. Cold!
This series of photos of a persistent seagull pecking on my friend Carrie’s car hood arrived in my messages tonight.
Thanks for sending these shots.
I asked if he did any damage to the hood
Carrie says,
”Oh, I didn’t look. Don’t think so. I finally put it in drive and went forward. He stayed on. So I put it in reverse. He still stayed on. Then I backed up and turned to get him off. The little guy was enjoying the ride.”
Beautiful bird, it was fun to watch.
3rd photo- he looks Proud .
Cute bird.
That was his adventure for the day! Considering he had the same coloring as the car, maybe he thought he was with his flock ….
He’s like the geese in our neighborhood – they are VERY bold, and seem to be afraid of absolutely nothing.
nice blog and very informative as well. thank you for sharing.
Your article helped convince me that it’d be worth the cost to use an experienced mechanic instead!
