  1. It is so wonderful that you have Mary Alta’s items. And she taught you to knit and I know how important that is to you. Wonderful memories. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  2. Special memories – I find great comfort in my Mother’s recipe book, I love seeing her handwriting.

  3. Ruth, I have been meaning to reply to your blog and so glad my brother, jim, reminded me. I love the fact that i have wonderful memories of Mary Alta also. And you too!! Remember teaching me to play the piano at Grandma’s?? i sure do. And I’m sure the reason I love to make homemade jellies and jams is because of grandma and Aunt Vesta. How special your dad was. I love lovely memories of him too. He always made me feel so special. Could you send me that recipe for pineapple upside down cake?? That would be special. Thx

  4. Love comes in so many forms. It’s wonderful to see the care from your grandmother continue to influence you (and others – now including me!). 🙂

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
