One thing I noticed as I looked at the photos of projects completed so far in 2018- I like to knit socks.
When my daughter Laura told me she liked the socks I’ve knit for her, I felt motivated to knit more.

Buying yarn from places I visit is a great way to remember your travels. A skein of local sock yarn doesn’t take up much room, either.Here are the Good and Plenty socks. Yarn by Abi Grasso (now I’m thinking I finished these in December- ooops.)
But they are so cheerful.
Laura was wearing the Good and Plenty socks and she didn’t know I was coming to see her that day! So satisfying to know the recipient likes what you made for them.
