Multiple Bubbles

I told Charlie it looked like a floating brain. He could blow bungles or multiples.

I’d taken out the little bubble trumpet I bought at The Shadyside Variety Store. Made by Pustefix in Germany “Best bubble formulation” the liquid makes the best bubbles.

My father used to sing the old fashioned Song (written in 1918) I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles we thought so funny…. But this song has been used as a chant for over 100 years by The West Hams a British Football club and you may have seen it on Ted Lasso show scroll down for video of song

I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high
They reach the sky
Then like my dreams they fade and die.
Fortunes always hiding
I’ve looked everywhere
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air

Little bubbles are fine by his brother Roy

Here’s the song being sung in London stadium by West Ham Fans

I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high
They reach the sky
Then like my dreams they fade and die.
Fortunes always hiding
I’ve looked everywhere
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air

Silent Sunday

If you’ve followed for awhile you’ve seen this before. Reposted from Archives. Photographed in Croatian church in 2008. A blog post four years ago. I just think a good one for Silent Sunday.

Armchair in the Side View Mirror at the Red Light

Two hundred miles from home and then I exited the highway to get to Laura’s house. Had to drive by this armchair, stop at the red light- you con barely see the armchair It’s a bit fuzzy in the side view mirror.

There was no way to drive around a block and get it right!

Closer than they appear

Sure Signs of Spring
