Jeffrey Brunner’s Artwork a Hit at the Shower- Photo by Guest Blogger Toni K

The minute I saw this painting, I knew it would be perfect in the nursery.

My friend and blog follower Toni K. took this photograph Saturday 5-30-15 at the shower.  Thanks for sending it.

Here’s Laura with the Night Forest Elephant and Bird piece I bought at the PERSAD Art for Change 2015 Auction.

Jeffrey Brunner of Hey Beast Studio in Pittsburgh is the artist! He’ll have a booth at the Three Rivers Art Festival next week.

Old Fashioned Clothesline and Pins at the Baby Shower

What a cute idea.  Lara and Josie came up with it.  Lara was scouting around for clothesline at Target, no line but they had the pins.  Loew’s had the clothesline- but NO clothespins!

Look how the little onesies, tiny socks, toys and washcloths stretched out the length of the line!

Laura’s high school friend Celeste and mother Julie  hosted a lovely baby shower for Laura this afternoon.

Pete’s Signs in the Roller Shades Department

I forget the number of the aisle at Home Depot. Thursday afternoon.

My sister was helping me get straightened up around here.  The family’s gathering in this weekend.

I was getting a couple of new shades for my bedroom windows. Make it private for my guests.

The shades had to be cut to size.

On the shelf below the shade cutter,  I saw these two signs and asked,

“Who made these signs?”

“Pete”

“Tell Pete they’re great!”

(BTW the customer service was super today! and no mistakes )

Invitation to Read

A basket of books at the Urgent Care waiting room.  The Delaware County District Library offers the gift of a book as you wait.

There was a basket of children’s books on  another end table.  I took a James Patterson mystery titled Mary Mary for my sister Mary.

I read the recipes in one but left it for someone else.

Thank you Friends at the Delaware County  District  Library.

(My son Mark had a scratched cornea-ouch– our reason for being there.  He’s on the mend)
