Here are the Adventures of Matthew highlights.
No thought of acid-free paper or archival pigment ink when I created this.
I covered two pieces of cardboard with fabric, ironed some of that paper that was coated and would bond when it got really hot and zig-zag stitched the pages on the sewing machine.
The end papers were marbled on this one.
I entered this photo to try to win something from Cheerios but I forget what it was.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW. Ruthie I love all the photos especially you and the one of Matthew with your Mom and Dad. Cherished memories
Love this!
Imo the way we made photo keepsakes back then was far more personal than how we approach it today!
This was a really beautiful post!!
Thank you for your lovely compliment- Seems many of our pictures reside in hard drives and phones instead of yellowing albums or in a scrapbook.
awwww, so precious! <3
Thanks Cindy 🙂
A wonderful trip down memory lane. The Cherrio’s photo is my favorite.

What a wonderful collection, Ruth! I’ve few photos of my childhood and view these with a bit of envy. It’s a fantastic way to document your family’s history.
