Another vintage car on our travels today. Eye catching color! Photographed on the fly as we drove by, headed to get gas.
A Volga is a Soviet Union made vehicle between 1956-1970.
Hoping a blog follower can identify the year, like the recent flatbed truck from the 1940’s.

Absolutely no idea!
How about that color?
I like black cars
I wonder how much they want for it?
Didn’t see price.
Are you looking for a new car?
No but I like to see the old ones
Love this post. Anytime I see a vintage car it feels like a little hello from my dad. He used to restore vintage cars. You couldn’t beat his paint job. The smell of bondo to this day brings me back to him in the garage. If he were here, I’d have a date for you 🥰
Love that the photo evokes memories of your dad❤️
Pretty sure it is not the original color! It is fun seeing the old cars. dc
I did another Google reverse image search and I found this information. Yes, it’s a VOLGA GAZ-M21 made in the Soviet Union, and according to this link, it appears to be a 1959 model, but those vehicles probably didn’t change very much from one year to the next. This one appears to be the same color, so maybe that was the original color. It’s for sale for $19,923.
Ken you are a terrific sleuth. Thank you for adding this good info to the post. I’d never seen one before. I appreciate your investigation and sharing it.
