“By Their Sidewalks You Will Know Them” Guest Poet Timons Esaias

Reblogging Timons’ poem in this season of snow and ice to acknowledge the ongoing obligation to shovel the walks so the path is clear and safe. This is just the beginning of the season. Winter starts in earnest on Saturday December 21 at 12:11 P.M.

  1. A great post to re-blog, Ruth. Love this shot. It’s familiar. I usually take a moment, after I’ve cleared my walk and that of 5 or 6 adjacent homes, to take a look at the path I’ve carved. OK, I use a snow blower but it’s still my path. 🙂

  2. Has this photo been edited? If not, then I am INCREDIBLY impressed by the sole pop of color the car provides, against the contrasting white/grays of the snow, street, and trees. Amazing eye!

Hope writing a comment today is not a major hassle.....I appreciate hearing from you when you have a minute.
