Central Park Snow Scene via Joe in NYC

Here’s today’s guest blog-

This afternoon I received this photo from blog follower Jack.  His son Joe took this  “Central Park- South East corner…there is a small pond that is iced over and covered with snow…it looks really peaceful”

I wrote to Joe (who also follows the blog and he was happy to contribute today’s post- Thanks Joe!)

He gave me permission to share his picture. And thanks Jack for sending Joe’s Central Park Snow Scene.

  1. Yes, this is beautiful & how I will enjoy my winter scenes- from the comfort of this sofa. Thanks, Joe.

  2. This does look really peaceful! And it’s another good example of a color photo that looks like it’s B&W. (At least, I assume this is a color photo.) Maybe that should be a photo challenge theme?

    • Thanks Eva. I know Joe will be pleased to read all the nice comments viewers are writing. THanks for the visit today. It is lovely.

  3. Thanks for all of the nice comments regarding this picture. I was on the way to the dentist during the snow storm and shot this pic with my camera as I was exiting the subway on Central Park South. Behind me is a mess of cars and pedestrian traffic but looking into the park was like another world of peace and serenity. I will shoot the same pic in the spring and show the comparison.

    • Thanks Joe. Almost two thousand hits so far! We are ALL really looking forward to your Spring photo. The snow scene is lovely though.
