I was bringing my grandson Charlie back to Pittsburgh from Ohio for a visit. Charlie got out of the car as he said he likes the smell of gasoline which was a surprise. Me? not so much. I especially don’t like the smell on my hands after filling the tank.
The total on the pump seemed astronomical. we wondered who filled up before us!

Omg! I wonder if it was one of those trucks with two tanks?
I was thinking an RV?
Maybe – or a travel van? But I sorta think RVs use diesel or take way more
My sis has a truck and pays 100 for average fill up so 177 is just a bit more
Either way – it was fun to ponder this with you and your post ha
Thanks for your thoughts on the total on the post. I appreciate your comments.

That total is crazy!
And I had thought my totals were high
I thought so too
I’m not sure what kind of vehicle it was either but you can see the reflection of some old lady who must have been pumping the gas into her Humvee. dc
Ha! That would be me. And Charlie’s reflected too
I didn’t think anyone liked the smell of gas. Yuck. Randy filled up our van last evening at $4.29/gallon. Total: $75. That’s the most we’ve ever spent on filling the van. We all know the reason behind high gas prices and the high prices of everything these days.
Yes you’re right. I had breakfast with a friend this morning and she said she loves the smell of gasoline, too. I never knew that people could like it.
Blimey!
Exactly!
