I needed new tires so I drove to Laurel Gardens Tire Service
Knit a bit on a sock but the wait wasn’t too long.

An aquarium without fish! But all the items they have fished out of tires. Some very Big Tires. What a collection. Besides screws and nails I saw a part of a pair of scissors.!
And it’s Tina who is responsible for the creative idea, although some of the guys tease and claim it was their idea!

Although her art is not mentioned in her obituary linked here it has to be
Rita Putnak-Kusenko who painted iconic Pittsburgh scenes, including the Isaly’s Dairy Store at North Hills Village in May1957. Her work is known for capturing local North Hills small businesses and nostalgic, familiar scenes, reflecting the neighborhood charm of the area. She is remembered for documenting local scenes in this way.
