The sign needs new tubing so words next to cone are also lit – still makes you want to have one. One side is so much more weathered, great shot
I almost forgot I get a free blizzard for my birthday…thanks for the reminder
Nice observation, which can be said of so many of your pthotos. Up here in Vermont, “Cree-mees” seems to be the standard word for soft-serve ice cream.
Ha, too funny!
The reason that DAIRY is lit up and one side and QUEEN on the other: the electricity is out on QUEEN on the first side and DAIRY on the other — but the “out words” are back to back …. as the lit-up words are back to back. [you reverse directions when you change sides to take the photo] They need to get the electricity working on one half of their sign!
This photo feels very 1950s/nostalgic to me. Very innocent and soothing… Thank you for that.
