The cropped version and the original. You get a better feel for the place in the second, original, full size.
WILD turkeys but they seem fairly domesticated and brave ( or not too bright?). There are a lot of them in the area (remember my first day of school post with the family of turkeys on the sidewalk.)
Urban turkeys.
brilliant! Haven’t seen one (or many) like that before. Thanks for sharing. Sharing mine:

Cheers
they look like they’re doing the wave
That would certainly distract me!
Yikes! They make me kinda nervous…
Wow.
It look like an outtake from “The Birds”.
Cue the music… looks like a scene from a certain movie.
Lots of wild turkeys here in Indiana! I was driving home from work one day and meandering across the road were about 20 wild turkeys. My grandmother used to say that they are the dumbest animal alive!
Maybe because of the reason noted by Sally’s grandmother, they were trying to go to school!!!!
This post and the comments are hilarious. Good eye Laura, great shot Ruth.
Love how a couple of them seem to be doing the “turkey dance”!
