Inflatable Santa and Car Headlights, Bloomfield Front Porch Holy Family and a Toy Soldier House

The shortest day of light in the year.  No wonder everyone is wrapping tiny lights around bare branches, plugging in cords, and flipping the switch to make it bright.

  1. Illuminated Christmas decorations do brighten the winter. I always feel sad when they are put away. Nice pictures Ruth E

  2. And today is our longest day :-). I hope you and your family have a lovely time together over the Christmas period and keep warm!

  3. Holy mackerel, that is a HUGE Santa indeed!

When Ma Nature doesn’t provide a lot of natural light, we humans will do our best to compensate; but I’m glad the days will begin to lengthen once again.

  4. Always nice to see homes that are relatively tastefully decorated, Ruth. The trend to have enough lights to rival Vegas is a bit much for me.

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
