Here are a few-Erector sets and Tinker Toys. Lincoln Logs. Slinky and Etch-a-Sketch, Pac Man and Star Wars. Barbie dolls and GI Joe. Mr. Potato Head and trolls. Spirograph and Cootie. Howdy Doody, Hopalong Cassidy and Roy Rogers.
Maybe you’ll recognize one of your toys from your childhood.

Good one, Ruth! For Jonathan’s 39th birthday, I sent him a box of toys and things he loved as a kid. He said it was the best, most thoughtful gift I’ve ever given him! How can I follow that up for his 40th? Anyway, I do remember ALL of those toys!

There were 1 or 2 I never saw as a kid. So enjoyed seeing the expression on Casper’s face. I wanted to give him a hug.
My American friend stood beside me all excited at the Tinker toys, and she was hoping to see Lincoln Logs? My favourites are the trolls, i used to sew tiny clothes for them!
What an excellent exhibit! We still have my View-master and the spiro-graph. My grown up kids bought a Twister game for their children. Hula hoops have made a comeback!

Oh my goodness, I remember so many of these, and even had a few myself. I know I had a toy iron and ironing board. Maybe that’s why to this day, I don’t mind ironing. It’s just a game. 😀

Me too. The only things I don’t iron are underpants, socks and bras. 🙂
I love a freshly ironed pillowcase that hung out on a line in the sunshine 🙂
