Chair Pad Adhesive Stuck on Wooden Seat It’s better than it was. The cushion’s no slip grip rubber came off and was glued to the wooden seat. This is a chair we got about eight years ago in an antique store in Columbus. I brought it back to Pittsburgh and it’s looking much better now. Not finished yet. Wow! What a big difference! I love the yellow roses on the back. That must have been hard work Loading... Reply
We used the same material on shelves in our kitchen. We had the same results. Lots of work to get it off. So we know that you did a fantastic job. Really like the chair too. Great find. Loading... Reply
Looking good Ruth 😁
Thanks Rainee.
Good job, Ruth!
Interesting process and now I know an alternate use for that “tool”.

Remind me to not buy anything with this backing on it!
Wow, what a transformation!
Better than it was. Getting there.
It has a beautiful char back Ruth. It will look stunning when it is finished.
Yes, Hitchcock is known for this gold stenciling. Thanks Colline
Really a beautiful chair!
Thanks Sylvia. I think it is going to be fine. And the good news is there are two.
Nice work! Seems like that took a lot of elbow grease…
