Sit a Spell, Curbside

Laura sent me this photo she took in Columbus, Ohio. It’s a good one.

I appreciate my family and friends seeing curbside discards, thinking of me and sharing a photo. I love the light on this one.

Today is a Good Day the Box says

Always take pics of furniture but ever furniture boxes?” Granddaughter Maura wrote in a text with this photo

I responded “why not?”

Guest blogger today is Maura. Oh she managed to send an abandoned chair too

And the white and blue box says “today is a good day.”

First Find. New Year’s Day

New Year’s Day-

I’d met a friend for breakfast at The Oaklander Hotel. On my way home I was talking to another friend (hands free) and I said Whoa, I have to pull over, get out of my car and photograph the first abandoned furniture of the new year.

It was exciting.

On the way there And the way back

That chair has been there all week.
The fourth day I decided it was blog worthy
From both sides of the road

Walnut Street Cushioned Chair

This color image seemed to want to be edited to black and white. I pulled over to the curb to catch it through the car windshield so that’s a bit of a filter already.

Look What Laura Found !

You know about the two times Laura didn’t drive around the block so I could capture a photo of a piece of abandoned furniture 😂 Add to my collection.

Well, she more than made up for this by photographing this cool abandoned chair she found in her neighborhood . She photographed and texted me this pic and it warmed my heart that I came to her mind when she saw the discard at the curb.

It’s Still Out There Monday Night
