My keen sense of deduction immediately allows me to rule these out as running shoes. Even a nice pair of socks knitted by you Ruthie would never make these comfortable to wear! My guess is they will remain there unclaimed for a long time. dc
Hmmm…quite a writing prompt. But, before my mind goes there, I’m noticing the contrast between fancy heels and rough surfaces. And I’m wondering where this image was taken???
I’d say her feet were killing her and she couldn’t wait a minute longer to kick off her shoes. The story that comes before that is anyone’s guess.
