The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies is a beautiful and special place.
Thank you Sue. Many families will be going there today.
Every Memorial Day I participate in Taps Across America. At 3:00pm I will be playing Taps in memory of those that gave it all in the service to our country. Let us never forget.
That’s a beautiful way to honor those who gave it all, Rob. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
” All gave some; some gave all.” Beautiful tribute Ruth…….
Thanks Ginny.
Beautiful tribute Ruth.
God Bless America and all those who served, especially those that lost their lives in service. dc
There is a song entitled “Don’t Ever Take Away My Freedom” by Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary fame. Take a look at the lyrics and you will get it. I have been singing it in my head over the last few days as I think about the men and women who died or were wounded protecting our freedoms. I pray for them and for all people who work to protect us.
Thanks Jack. I’ll check it out.
A blessing Lt Col. McCrae’s poem was published. You felt the anguish. Beautiful tribute. Thanks Ruthie gcr
This blog reminds me of the females, males and non-binary people who fought for our country! It reminds me of my grandson who is in the army. God bless America🇺🇸
Good, and haunting, reminders.
