Dear dc.
Thanks for the great photo of Gonzo’s Sister*. Amazing she laid an egg when you took her out of the box! And you thought with all those air holes punched in the cardboard, I must have mailed a plant or a puppy but alas, it was too light when you lifted it up off your front porch. Surprise!
Everyone needs a handknit Emotional Support Chicken. The pattern is from The Knitting Tree, LA And it’s soaring on the charts. https://theknittingtreela.com/
The Yarn is Papagallo by LanaGrossa
Not sure if there will be enough eggs to bake a cake today but wanted to say Happy Birthday and hope she’s behaving herself in her new digs.
Love,
Pres

*naming credits to my knitting friend Randi she said “she looks like Gonzo’s Sister”
I never realized I had some anxiety or emotional issues until I opened the box and saw Gonzo’s Sister. I loved her the minute I held her in my arms and an incredible sense of calm has taken hold of me. Yesterday we went for a drive to look for abandoned furniture and had a great time even though we didn’t see any. She is my rock. Thank you Dr Ruth. dc
I’m so glad she’s with you dc. ❤️
This moved me to tears. Such kindness in your soul, Ruth. To dc, Gonzo’s Sister is exactly where she’s meant to be. In your arms.
You are so right Audrey. Just where she needs to be.
A lady at our church is talking about making them . She saw the Calf. knitting pattern. She knits beautiful scarves. In talking to her It sounds like she belongs to a lot of different knitting groups.
Awe, Looks like Gonzo’s sister is right where she needs to be.
She’s amazing; what a thoughtful gift. And much lower maintenance than a puppy. 😉
