My sister and I drove to the Great Lakes Fiber Show Wooster Ohio on the way home from a week of family events in Columbus.

Hope to see you at the Pennsylvania Sheep and Wool Festival

What gorgeous pictures! What gorgeous yarn! My husband used to spin.
It was a wonderful festival. That’s cool your husband used to spin. Thanks for your visit today.

Not someone who knits, sews or crafts but this was very interesting. I loved the knitted animals.
They were so cute. Thanks Sheree.
What a great place to stop and visit. Love the animals and wool fiber. Beautiful display of hand crafted items. Thanks for sharing!
We had a nice time walking through the barns. So much to see. Thanks Carrie.
You’re inspiring me to pick up my knitting needles (again) gcr
Let me know if you needle any cheering on!
Do you make it to the Wool Gathering in Yellow Springs in September? That one is fairly near me (1 hr) so it’s the only festival I attend. With 6 years of projects already in my stash, I don’t need to buy more yarn at festivals. 🙂
I second this! The Wool Gathering is a wonderful show at Young’s Dairy farm in Yellow Springs. Cheese curds, homemade ice cream, fiber as far as the eye can see… what’s more to love?! Great vendors, great area, 10/10.
Sounds like a great festival .
I don’t need any more yarn either and bought just one skein as a gift, a fun bag with chickens embroidered on it and a card for a weaving friend.
What perfect timing while visiting to catch this show. Looks like some great vendors and demos. I’ve knit with Angora before. I found a tiny little ball at a yard sale one time in a sea of acrylic junk. lol. I made a little white seal ornament, complete with little safety eyes. Sent it to someone on Ravelry, think it’s in Brazil somewhere.
I love that an Angora seal you knit made his way to Brazil.
