One of the boxes of LEGOs Charlie received for his 11th birthday on Thursday was this project-Mona Lisa. The appropriate age printed on the box of the 1,503 pieces was age 18+!
His dad is going to get a wall anchor and hang it up tomorrow.

The deft Charlie looks good on his birthday! Mona looks stern. I read that the 18+ rating, when used on LEGO sets, is primarily a marketing strategy to appeal to adult hobbyists and destigmatize building as “just a children’s toy”.
This art deserves to be displayed. Well done, Charlie. LEGOs are one of the best toys ever created, in my opinion.
