At the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium on Tuesday. Just the two of us.
Spoiler alert: if you are going and want to guess the weight of these enormous pumpkin specimens don’t look as I have the answers shown in the photos below the pumpkins.
I was trying to envision how these huge pumpkins were transported and installed.

There are signs Do not Touch or Climb

The animals were great but my grandson Ananda loved seeing all the Mighty Machines where construction workers were working in the zoo.
A ton! How can a pumpkin grow to be that big!
No idea on the numbers, suffice to say- massive. Imagine carving that!
It’s hard to fathom the weight! Can’t imagine carving it. Thanks for writing today.
Of course the construction machines would be an attraction. Love this, Ruth. Such moments as this with your grandson are the stuff of love and memories.
We are certainly creating memories-st least for me. I hope he can remember some things of our time together.
