Climbs trellises and walls with ease. “There are over 300 species with the Ranunculaceae -buttercup family.” This one is from my friend Joan’s garden. There’s a very popular sweater knitting pattern Ranunculus designed by Midori Hirose.

The black line near the center is a bit of bird seed that fell down from the feeder.
