Coming back from the Co-op Bookstore, I saw three young men testing their skills on some stairs. I watched a few jumps and then asked permission to photograph and post. Landing on a concrete sidewalk, even on the board, did not look inviting to me but they kept at it to improve technique. Very cool to watch up close. Today’s post marks the one year blogiversary for my blog.
I went back and realized on my first post I did not insert a photograph!
Congratulations on surviving a year of every morning-ness!
Hmmm – I would be holding onto the railing coming down the steps – his way looks like more fun!!
You really catch the action – like in the photo with Anna and the Hula Hoop!
Happy Blogiversary!!!
Happy Blogiversary
I love the detail on the concrete post and steps and brick. Really beautiful. Young man not bad either.
I think I would of enjoyed a skateboard when I was younger. Did you know the first roller derby skateboard was developed in 1959. I don’t remember seeing them around when I was a teenager, but then I don’t remember a lot of things.
wow! i can’t believe its been one year! congrats!
Scary!
Did you ask him to do that?
Il a beaucoup de courage, ce jeune homme …… ou bien, il est fou, quoi!!!! 🙂
C’est le 14 juillet.. Bastille Day …. vive la France et la belle photographie!!
