Its never easy to lose a pet. I know that Steve has lost his best friend.
Last year we lost a cat named Fred. He was a seal point rag-a-muffin with blue eyes. I still miss his crazy antics. Animals are so important in our lives, sort of like plants fill a special place.

When you lose a precious animal, it’s actually losing a beloved member of your family – he’ll be up there in Kitty Heaven with my cats Sugar and Honey.
I enjoyed spending a little time with Fred this past summer. So sorry for your loss.

Really it is striking how similar our two boys were, right down to shoving their noses into cut flowers. Was it the carnations he was after? Cat couldn’t resist them.
