When I received an email with the challenge of the week, I read the suggestions about landscape and horizon and went to find them.
I have a ton of landscape images but suddenly I saw all these photographs in my library with people in them.
Walking somewhere. And me, following the walkers. A city far in the distance. Near and Far. Here are my interpretations of Near and Far, starring my family, the cities, the Hot Metal Bridge decorated with colorful bras for Breast Cancer Awareness and an unknown marathoner with her pony tail flying.
Photographed in Columbus and Pittsburgh.
There are at least 100 other bloggers interpretations in the list of ping backs on the Daily Post
Great shots.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks Francine. You might recognize a few from previous posts. I hope to see you before the winter sets in!

All great choices, Ruth!
Great responses to the challenge, Ruth. I started to list my favorite … then it became favorites … then it became a recap of all of your photos. Let’s just say I like them all. 🙂
I didn’t notice the bras until I looked through them again.
Those are great examples. You definitely have an artist’s eye.
the bra bridge is funny …
Great photos for the theme, Ruth. How in the world did all those bras end up there? 😀 I love the wedding couple one the best. 🙂
The bras were strung all across the bridge last October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My daughter and her husband got dressed in their wedding clothes six months after their wedding As a favor to me as I wanted to take their pictures but couldn’t at the wedding, of course.
